da lvbet: It has been 12 long painful years for Arsenal fans since the ‘Invincibles’. In that time, Arsenal have won just three trophies, a hat-trick of FA Cups, whilst Manchester United, Chelsea, Man City and Leicester have all won themselves at least a title apiece.
da fazobetai: When Wenger first came to England, he seemed like the Messiah to Arsenal fans, winning the double in his first full season. Just four years later, he achieved the same feat, this time managing to go a whole season unbeaten at home. An FA Cup followed in 2003 before Wenger and Arsenal re-wrote the history books by going whole season unbeaten, home and away, and clinched the club’s 13th title, Wenger’s third.
Since then, Arsenal have had long trophy-less period including a nine-year barren spell. Last season saw the rise of Leicester, and Wenger has already looked to spoil the Foxes’ party pushing to sign Jamie Vardy. But what would happen if Wenger was to sign his team-mate Riyad Mahrez, too?
Vardy + Mahrez = goals
Vardy scored 24 goals in the Premier League last season and racked up eight assists. Mahrez scored a staggering 17 goals and assisted a further 10. The pair were involved in an astonishing 59 goals between them. Very little needs to be said about statistics such as that.
Hunger
It would be pretty embarrassing for either Vardy and Mahrez to leave the champions to join the runners-up and not succeed. It would be a real slap in the face and the two footballing superheroes would be extremely eager to prove their success was not a one off.
Proven
Arsenal fans hate nothing more than seeing one of their wingers, such as Walcott or Oxlade-Chamberlain being tackled easily on the sidelines or Giroud spurning a ridiculously easy chance which every fan in the ground thinks that they could have scored themselves.
These two men have won the league in a side that is realistically nowhere near the quality of Arsenal. If the two of them can win the league with Leicester, they can definitely do it at Arsenal.

Domino effect
This may sound crazy, but Arsenal seem to be showing a real intent the transfer market this season. Players are much more likely to join a club that they feel has the power to achieve and succeed, and if Arsenal are signings great players, Europe’s top stars will want to go to the Emirates, too.

Injuries? Not a problem
Arsenal and injuries – it’s a better love story than Twilight. Everybody knows it. Every time a player goes down, Arsenal fans have their tongues in their throat and try not to have nervous breakdowns. With players joining the club, Arsenal have more players to use when the inevitable injuries occur, if injuries are costing Arsenal titles, then bulking up the squad is a great solution.
