Club football is finally returning this weekend after a long international break and with it, Roma are also back in action.
The Italian giants will face Brescia on Sunday afternoon and this will be an excellent opportunity for the Gladiators to get back to winning ways after tallying two consecutive losses across the board.
But this clash might be of interest to more than just Roma and Serie A fans.
In fact, Manchester United supporters might want to tune in and watch this clash as well and pay special attention to one man who’s likely to play for the home side: Nicolo Zaniolo.

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder has been reportedly identified as one of the Red Devils’ potential targets as they have already scouted the youngster, as per reports coming from Il Messaggero.
And the same source claims the English side’s scouts have seen Zaniolo in action against Armenia when his country, Italy, steamrolled their opposition, winning 9-1.
The best part, however, is that the 20-year-old was fantastic in that game, registering two goals and one assist in the process. They happened to be his first for the national team in a total of five senior caps.
But he’s been largely impressive back in Serie A as well.

Despite his young age, he’s already mustered 16 games across all competitions, including four in the Europa League where he also managed to score two goals.
As a whole, he boasts five strikes across the board and one assist as well but what definitely emphasises his importance to the Roman Gladiators is the fact that he’s the team’s third-best goalscorer in Serie A, only behind Aleksandar Kolarov and Edin Dzeko with four and five goals respectively.
Needless to say, he is someone big teams could very well be fighting for in the not so distant future, that’s if he continues developing like this.
Of course, whether Ole Gunnar Solskjaer actually needs him in his squad at this point in time is a discussion for another time but what better way to evaluate Zaniolo than to see him in action once again? It would surely be difficult for the Red Devils to turn down a player who possesses such quality.
With Roma’s Sunday opposition, Brescia, sitting dead last in the table, we could potentially expect fireworks.
And if the season so far has been any indication, when there are fireworks for Roma, Zaniolo is usually pretty close by.
Manchester United fans better not miss it.
